6/23/16 - Coasting along with my audiobook "re-read"

------------------------------------------------
***4.5 So Sad It's Over Stars***
I'm going to start this review by being completely honest...I am 100% biased when it comes to this series and Tate & Logan. You have been warned.

I will start off by saying that this book definitely has a different "feel" than the previous two. Don't get me wrong, it's got all the steam and raunchiness that you expect from these boys, but it also has a lot more heart and emotion.
Tate and Logan have been through so much in their relationship, and it's damn satisfying to see them finally find their footing and fully let go with each other. I don't want to give anything away as this book really should be experienced without any spoilers, but possibly have some tissues nearby.
The trademark steam that we've come to expect from this dynamic duo was here, plentiful and greatly appreciated!

Watching these two surrender physically was hot as hell, but seeing them finally surrender emotionally was absolutely melt your heart swoony!
Especially our usual sarcastic and witty Logan!

In all fairness, this book plot wise, was probably the weakest in the trilogy. Not much "happened" here, but that didn't really bother me. Like I said...biased! I'm so in love with these characters, that I'd be satisfied just reading a snippet of what a trip to the grocery store would be like for these two! I will say, however, that one character's appearance irked me a bit. His presence really wasn't fleshed out and developed so it felt out of place. He appeared, brought along some bruhaha, and then disappeared. For that reason alone, I had to be a wee bit honest in my gushing and knock off half a star.
This is a series that I'm so terribly sad to see end and characters that I'm heartbroken to say goodbye to. I'm hoping we'll get some snippets of Tate and Logan in the future, but until then I'm happy to know that they're in a good place, deeply in love, and probably fucking each other's brains out at every given opportunity!
Thus, I end my review...giving Logan the last word.
-------------------------------------------
Pre-Release
I ask for the strength to have patience while waiting for this book.

And whenever I feel myself slipping into despair, I'll remind myself

Because Tate and Logan

"What can I say? I like sleek, sexy things between my legs. Makes sense since I fucking love having you there."

"Tonight, your ass is mine."
He picked his helmet up, well aware of the wild eyes tracking him. Logan looked like a caged animal, and Tate couldn't wait to unleash him.

"See the corner of the mattress over there? Feel free to bite it when I'm fucking you so hard your throat is hoarse from shouting."

Watching these two surrender physically was hot as hell, but seeing them finally surrender emotionally was absolutely melt your heart swoony!
"There's something about you. In the way you are. It pulls me in, Logan. I can't imagine knowing you and not feeling it."
Especially our usual sarcastic and witty Logan!
"Because before this, I didn't know you were essential for me to feel alive."

In all fairness, this book plot wise, was probably the weakest in the trilogy. Not much "happened" here, but that didn't really bother me. Like I said...biased! "What I can't seem to get enough of? When the guy I love is strong enough to stand up beside me and hold my fucking hand but is ALSO strong enough to pin me down and pound me into my mattress."

I'm getting antsy! I need something more concrete than "Spring 2015" to look forward to. But that cover has me all kinds of happy :)

I know...the waiting sucks! But so worth it for Logan and Tate

Yep ;p but this one's pretty juicy too

I think I have the actual photo (without the wording) on my home computer; and what a sight of that a$$ pressed up against the glass ;D

Oh poor you, that is one hell of book to have as an introduction to GFY because it's by far my favorite to date of all the M/M books I've read!
Off the top of my head I'd recommend:

I hope others add their recs so I can add some more to my to-read list :)

LOVED Collide and I have both of the other ones on my TBR. I sent Rafaela a PM with a couple of recommendations, including Collide. The others were The Backup Boyfriend and Starfish and Coffee. If you want more recommendations, I have a GFY-OFY shelf you should check out. Or for more MM's in general, check out my boys who like boys shelf....or just PM me. Sharing is caring, after all! :)

Oh good, I hated the idea of leaving a gal jonesing for some good M/M high and dry ;)
I've added the book you mentioned to my list.
Sharing is indeed caring, so feel free to PM me as I'll do my best to assist a fellow reader with exquisite taste in hunky men (on men...)!

THANKS!!!"
Anytime :)
I just finished Crossing Borders which is a GFY of sorts, funny and charming, so maybe that would also be worth checking out, although Collide and Curious would still be top of my list :)

Hell yeah!!! This has been one of my most anticipated books of the year! I just LOVE Logan and Tate!

LOL Thanks, April! :D xx

Thanks, Nina! This series is fantastic! And if you aren't a big MM reader, this is a great introduction....it actually popped my cherry, and I haven't looked back since!

Thanks, doll! So sad I'm done with these two...but I guess all good things must come to an end...even if I don't want them to LOL

Thanks, Lyndy! I'm so going to miss these two! :(

Thanks, Sharon! One of my favorite MM couples! So sad to say goodbye to them.

Lovely review, babe.

Lovely review, babe."
Thanks, doll!! This is my first time re-reading them, and man...it's just as satisfying the second time around. I love them!!

Woman....WOMAN....you NEED to read this series!! So damn good!! I'm pretty sure it's impossible to not fall in love with Logan and Tate.
Thanks, doll!
