All about acting on your goals and dreams, changing your thoughts and attitude to feel better and be successful. I like the poetry that was interspersed with the stories.
I want to listen to some self help books to see what I think of them and wether I think I actually can learn something from them. This wasn't of to the best start. While occasionally something was said that made a bit of sense most of it just doesn't make sense to me. It's basically saying everything is possible if you just do it and that's just not true if only life was so easy it be much nicer for everyone. I will listen to some others but so far I don't know if this is for me.
Not a lot new here but the book has good and simple steps to motivate action/doing. One point I did takeaway, that seems quite simple and profound, is that it's easier to change behaviour than it is to change thought. I agree with this.
The lottery and positive thinking. Pray everyday to win a lottery but to win it, you still need to buy the ticket. This book gives the way to the positive doing instead of the usual positive thinking that dominates today's self help industry.
A short collection of the author's experiences with & inspiration for taking one positive action, however small, toward your goal to make the impossible possible. Good reading for those times when I feel stuck & a small action can take me one step forward & create momentum.
Six stars out of a possible five! I love this book. It's so powerful yet simple. I have always been a bit of a "self-improvement" junkie, but this one really is such an easy call to action.
Required reading for work. Lame. So many acrostics and platitudes. I think I liked one story in the whole book. But the cute critter pictures were appreciated.
