The book is extremely interesting, it reveals to us techniques and tricks used by governments, publishers, channels, big companies to mislead the world and achieve the result they want. Certainly some things we suspected were happening and here this book opens our eyes and reveals to us all the techniques of misleading and disorienting the public.
The problem, in my opinion, with this book is that all the examples it includes in the book are one-sided, they are seen from a left-wing political point of view and only have to do with capitalism (very frequent use of this word in book) America, England, Israel and a great obsession with the government of 2019 and N-Democrat ministers, politicians, etc. It is something that does the book a great injustice.
This skillfully written book delves into the intricate mechanisms of propaganda, exploring its diverse forms and methods for identification. Introducing terms like copaganda, pinkwashing, and greenwashing, the author emphasizes the necessity of vigilance in our media consumption. Furthermore, the book underscores the political significance of statistics and visuals in shaping societal perceptions, as wielded by both media outlets and (wannabe) influential figures. Political science scholars well-versed in Deborah Stone鈥檚 鈥淧olicy Paradox鈥 can readily engage with this line of thought.
