I know this is probably the most common reference in the field, though I've never been overly fond of it. To be fair, there are few textbooks I like. I will say that I consulted this book today to read the section on Fire codes and was very happy with it. It's concise, but clear enough that I think I'd have no trouble designing a Fire code burst decoder based on that section.

Just fell in love with this book....... absolutely fun in reading, explains the chapters in much broader sense.... Though I haven't completed entire book but have almost finished half of it and love it.....
