A very insightful book about how to get back to the basics of our hectic lives. With much evidence based approach, the author has elaborated on why some people live so long, what they eat, how they think and approach the world.
A good read indeed!

As a bullfighting aficionado I was very interested in getting the real life perspective from other people who have experienced Spain and the bullfighting circuit. I was not disappointed. The author has met with the like sof John Fulton and many other living household names and legends. The work covers the history and the present life and times of bullfighters, the bulls and how they are kept as well as what motivates the audience and those drawn to bull events, like the Pamplona bull chase.
Well written as a part biography (of many people), part autobiography, part travel log. All a success.

Full of information and atmosphere.

This was a difficult read because it was so uninteresting.

It is like a cluttered attic, everything is everywhere and its too much. A love story lost somewhere in the vast 'look at me I know this and everything else' of the author, showing off his vast knowledge. Every now and again a beautiful line, a description of something or another, the kind of thing the misguided advice 'kill your darlings' was made for. It took me ages to finish this book because I just could not finish this verbose diatribe.

The English Patient is much better for this kind of thing.
