I finished this one over a week ago and my mind is absolutely fogged. I remember the first part of the book starting off pretty strong. Our main character was unique, there was a LGBTQIA + romance. The premise was promising and had me hooked.

Unfortunately we gained a love triangle more than halfway through the book. It was infuriating and just weird. It also felt like the last 30 pages were crammed to the brim with all the information that was being built into the book. It was frustrating. Don’t forget the massive cliff hanger, that we all saw coming.

"Not going to rate this because I don’t like to rate memoirs and my ratings are based on enjoyment which I don’t think the subject matter is enjoyable, understandably so. All I will say though is I hope Shari and the rest of her family, especially her two youngest siblings, get all the help they need and can heal. This story breaks my heart. Ruby and Jodi. I have nothing good to say so I’ll leave it at, I hope they can fix their crazy selves."
