Islam truly offers profound wisdom, blending the best of philosophy, psychology, and morality in a way that no other system does. It understands human nature deeply and teaches us how to balance mercy and justice in a way that resonates with reality. Islam teaches us to show mercy and kindness to the righteous and to be firm and just when necessary. It doesn鈥檛 indulge in unrealistic idealism or the coldness of materialism鈥攊t's about balance and practicality.
The way Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) embodied both mercy and awe-inspiring strength is unparalleled. His charisma, the blend of gentleness and authority, is a unique combination that has influenced millions. Islam doesn鈥檛 just present theories鈥攊t provides a system that directly addresses human behavior, with wisdom that's rooted in balance and understanding.
It鈥檚 not about philosophical complexities or the excesses of materialism or idealism. Islam captures the essence of human nature and teaches us to be pragmatic yet compassionate. It brings together the best qualities in a way that no other system or ideology has been able to do.
A Christian will say: patience, sacrifice, love, and peace鈥攅ven towards monkeys and pigs. A Muslim will say: mix mercy with firmness鈥攂e kind to humans but show no mercy to monkeys and pigs. A materialist will say: be selfish, survival of the fittest, look out for yourself, and build relationships based only on personal gain.
But you are the one who chooses.
The Islamic system seems reasonable鈥攌indness, charity, but also strength, awe, and fear. Mix them. Mix mercy with firmness 馃榿馃榿馃榿.
Give mercy to those who need it and strike those who need firmness 馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ. Find the balance.
Show compassion to those who deserve it, and for those who deserve a strike, strike them.
But who are "humans" really? No one knows.
At school, they teach us math, but they don鈥檛 teach us about people and life鈥攂ecause they themselves don鈥檛 know.
