R. Phoenix So I have no idea if Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ will alert you that I've answered this -- because I never received an alert that you'd asked (thanks, GR), but for anyone else who might be wondering! I commissioned a cover for a book three late last year (Open Cages), and I've been thinking about poking at it this year. Another author and I had a bet going, and tl;dr: I'm supposed to write it. :-D I want to. It's just a matter of time restraints and energy after I finish writing my other (co-written) projects for the day.

Thank you SO MUCH for reading and your kind words!!
R. Phoenix Wow, thanks Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ for telling me about this question... 48 days later??

Anyway, it's on the agenda, but I keep freezing up on it. I'm really, really hoping to get to it this year (finally) but I've been saying that for a while. :-(
R. Phoenix Umm... That is an excellent question. I'm like halfway through writing it? It just difficult for some reason! I may need to tweak and take out one of the elements that I'd usually love but just doesn't seem to be working for my muse. I got another question about it last night, and it's making me want to rearrange my writing schedule so I can get to it sooner.
R. Phoenix There will be! I'm only one chapter in right now because!life, but I'm planning on writing a sequel. It will have MMMM 'cestalicious goodness and more mpreg and more of all the things. Gah, I need to find time to work on it. (*looks at her workload and weeps*)

I'm so glad you enjoyed the first one!
R. Phoenix Usually I write my books in duos or trios, so I spend time setting up bigger arcs than can really fit in one book. I do intend to go back to Shards because I'm aching to play with Avery more and really explore the danger he poses (what Tristan's dad was talking about), but I can't say when it'll be. So... yes, but I have no idea when.
R. Phoenix There is a sequel! It's called "It's Still Just Us." You can find it on Amazon @ . I need to get them linked on Amazon. Thanks for the reminder!
R. Phoenix There won't be any more books with these three, but I do plan on writing more stories with them. I want to write a little into the future, some prequel work with just Daddy and Cammy, and things about Daddy in general. Those will be on my Patreon or for my newsletter subscribers or group members and things like that. So I do plan on writing more with them, but it won't be in an actual book.

If Daddy ever tells me his story, I'd love to share it, though! I've never written a character so determined to keep his past hidden from me before. (Yeah, yeah, crazy author time right here, LOL. But seriously, he's like a real person in my head.)
R. Phoenix Hi, June! I'm so glad you enjoyed the books. I love Toby and Griffin, and while I won't be writing a book 3 for them, I am intending on writing a Christmas short story with the two of them. There's a Rainbow Advent Calendar event going on. Here's the link to the website where the stories are being posted. My date is a secret so I can't share it, but look for it by the end of the month!

I actually have the sequel to Gilded Cages in the works right now! If you want to find out progress about it or anything else, you're welcome to join my group on Facebook, . I can't promise an HEA but I hope it'll be fulfilling!
R. Phoenix Thank you so much for saying so! I really enjoyed writing them, and I'm proud of them as well. (Though how my kink turned into plot stuff, I have no idea.) I juuuuust set the release date as Friday, September 21, 2018! I'll have a short discounted pre-order period before that.

...Assuming I stop stalling and finish edits. *cough*

I also have a group on Facebook, The Turtledoves of Tartarus, where I post spoilers and torment people and give things away.
R. Phoenix I know this is way, way late, but I never saw this question. Thank you so much for your commentary on Too Close, which is so very dear to me. It was hard to write, but I've never been more grateful to have pushed forward on a difficult project. I'm working on one now with author TN Nova, and it's gonna be a doozy. I was having some problems with my website, but it should be back up now!

My other series, which has been renamed Fate of the Fallen because I can't ever leave things alone, is available in two omnibus sets (1-3) and (4-6) at discounts. There are also other books in that world!
R. Phoenix Oh, no, you're right -- I'm female. I'm just not a lady. I use the f-word too much (according to my child). ;-) And whoo! So glad to hear that. It's one of those things that I'm always afraid of: did I get this right? It's one of the reasons I like going to the paranormal side of things, because I can make things up and not worry about it being "accurate."
R. Phoenix Hey, Rascal!

I'm not so sure I'm a lady, per se, but hey, I'll take it. ;-) Thank you so much for the comment -- I really appreciated it!

I do write primarily M/M, though I intend to branch out into M/F and M/F in the future. (You know, in my infinite free time.) I have one book, Gifts, that's M/M/F -- or F/M/M depending on how you look at it. Not really kink, but it's erotica. I'd be happy to send a copy your way if you'd like to check it out. Just send me a message with your email address. :-)

R. Phoenix I could've sworn I answered this. :-\ I'm so sorry. My attempts at making Bound by Sacrifice work... didn't. So I reverted back to the previous 6 book model. Thanks for the interest!
R. Phoenix Head. Desk. Repeat.

No, seriously. I write out of order, so when I get stuck, I skip around. I'll go write something later in the book, or go back and fill in something from closer to the beginning or so on.
R. Phoenix It's a socially acceptable way to talk to my imaginary friends, and when they answer me, it's normal if I type it up.
