R.J. Castiglione I apologize profusely for the delay. I intend to finish the Fjorgyn series with books four and five. I already have a cover for book four and 35,000 words written.

My personal life got in the way of my writing for a while, but I'll have time again starting in January as my youngest child starts daycare :-)

I do feel a bit like George R.R. Martin here, only that I'm not writing monolithic stories containing 400k+ words :-P
R.J. Castiglione Hi Bill,

Thank you for your interest in Fjorgyn 4. I know it's been a while (three years is a long time to wait), and the story is still in progress. Life circumstances have prevented me from writing at the rate I would like to. But know I am wholly committed to finishing this series out by next summer with the release of Fjorgyn: Insurrection (book four) and Fjorgyn: The Heart Stone (book five).

For a progress tracker, I'm about a third of the way through writing book four. I hope to finish half of the first draft by the end of the month and release it this autumn.
R.J. Castiglione I have two more works in the queue before Fjorgyn 4.

"Don't Look Up," a contemporary speculative fiction about Adam Frost, a domestic abuse survivor who flees to his childhood home on Maui to put his life back together.

"Lacrimosa's Lament," a Gamelit story in the same universe of Fjorgyn where Jenny (character name, Luna) gets stuck inside an immersive game with millions of other players. She and her guild seek out "Developer Island" hoping to find out information on how to escape the game.

Then Fjorgyn 4. I'm aiming for the end of the year, and will certainly keep all my readers appraised on the status :-)
R.J. Castiglione Telling the stories, IMO. If you tell stories that you would enjoy reading, others will as well.

That and setting your own hours.
R.J. Castiglione Just do it.

While you're writing, connect with other author communities in your genre. Also, if you have the funds available, get your book edited. It will save you some headaches in the long run.
R.J. Castiglione I am currently working on two works:
Fjorgyn: The Deep Below (book 2)
When Mountains Weep (LGBT Modern fantasy/romance).
R.J. Castiglione When reading other LitRPG's, I found an absence of LGBT main characters and characters only interested in healing roles.

Based on this, I was inspired to write the Fjorgyn series to fill the void. The political drama itself was drawn somewhat from my appreciation of dystopian literature paired with current events.
