I have heard from one author that he went into B&N and ordered his own book and he got it.
Numerous other authors have expressed the opinion that B&N are a bit snotty and don't want to do business with Indie Authors because we're not legitimate (no matter how many books we sell on Zon).
No, I've not done a book anything at B&N. But our Main Library had its first ever Book Fest for local authors to exhibit this past March and I got a booth and sold 18 books and did Autograph Signing for FREE (as a sales pitch). I plan on doing the same thing from now on.

None of us knew our parents before we were born. We only know them from one point of reference, as a child knows a parent. But they were full-fledged adults before we arrived. I'd like to know what my parents were like as individuals before I was born. That would be a mystery I'd like unraveled.
