With The Chat Room, the words spilled onto the screen for me. It was a personal experience and I believe that when writing about personal experiences, the words flow better. When writing fictional pieces, yes, it can become difficult at times to consider where you want to go next. That is when writer's block rears its ugly head for me.

The Chat Room fell into my lap. I joined the chat room while playing a game which is completely out of character for me. A group of friends asked me to join them in a private chat room. It did not take long for all sorts of stories to come floating to the surface during my nine month journey. At the end of the final story, I knew the book would come to fruition.
