Sadly, at the moment I’m not writing or posting new content. Just before Mistaken was published, I was in a car accident. It’s five years later and I’m still recovering. I’ve haven’t been in a position where I have the time, energy or capacity to write in a very long time now. I do still hope to be able to finish works in progress but I’ve stopped subscriptions on my Patreon until I know that I can.

Sort of? I want to keep publishing books in this series. At the moment, I'm hard at work trying to get the currently available books ready for print. I'm also in the final few chapters of a new Luperverse book. The problem with that "Rich History" is that it's huge. It would take a life time to document and right now it is living on crumbling notebooks in the attic. Plus, rent free in my head.
There are random shorts and longer works available on my patreon page, but they aren't good enough for publication.

Funny you should ask about books in print. I have dropped all the writing at the moment and am struggling to get my books formatted so that they are available for print on demand from Amazon. I'm not tech savvy. I'm also working two jobs besides the writer gig, so it is slow going. Thrown to the Wolves is already available. I've gotten Mistaken to the proof copy stage, but I haven't gotten a proof copy that was clean enough to sell yet. Misconstrued ... I haven't even started.
One thing at a time, right?
I'm planning on participating in The 3-Day Novel Contest as a live writing event on Patreon in September. The one last year felt like a success. I wrote a 32k novel in three days. It's called Misplaced as will be available in Patreon starting in August.
Once all the current books are available in print form, I'll get back to creating new content.

I'm working on writing Jo's story over on my Patreon site. I'm not a full time writer yet and am still squeezing in my writing time around my job and other life requirements. But if you are needing more - there is bonus content available there.
I am also participating in the 3 Day Novel contest and my planned story for that is also set in the Mistaken universe. That will hopefully be written live Sept 4-5-6 2021 with some of my Patreon subscribers watching the progress.

Some is referenced, it usually isn’t explicit. There is a bit more in the deleted scenes on my Patreon, but you need to dig through the posts because I’m rubbish at tagging.

Yes! Jo and the Warden's story is in process over on my Patreon page. I have another one outlined for a possible book four (if everyone isn't sick of them by then). Jo and Warden will have a one on one relationship where Warden's challenge will be keeping Jo from getting completely distracted by her attempts to rebuild. It investigates how the humans are getting on in a bit more detail than Mina or Kari did. Jo is still in the thick of it, she won't be as carried off as the first two. There will be more insights into Orc society, I hope, because Jo is going to be working with them.
The following book -should it happen- features a pregnant Natalie with a secret and how a small group of orcs react to that.
At any given time, I have three novels in progress on Patreon, but I'm not a full time writer. In general, it takes me a couple of years from the time I outline a story to the time I'm ready to self publish. Plus the editing process takes a fair amount of time, which means that needs to happen when I have a lighter workload in my day job.
So, as much as I would love to promise you a new orc book by Christmas, I'm only on chapter 18. On the other hand, if you can't wait, you can read along as I write it, one chapter per week, on Patreon if you are really keen.

it is not currently available. The plan is to edit and lengthen it for re-release it on my Patreon site sometime in the future.

Swearing. And If I can't figure out what comes next, it's time to go back to the outline. If that still doesn't work, I talk to people on my discord server. A lot of the time, defining the problem shows the answer to whatever plot point I'm stuck on.

Just do it. Even if you are writing stuff you don't have confidence in, just write something.

I always have three novels going, I release one chapter of each of them a week on Patreon. They don't all go anywhere. Current projects are the one about the woman with a dragon living in her basement, one about an Ulfurinn who is struggling with treaty defined roles, and the next part of Miranda's struggle to put together a pack.

Spite. And yes, I know that's horrible.
I wrote little randoms snippets since high school, but only started sharing anything in 2017 because someone told me writing was stupid. Then I started writing original work when someone told me I couldn't. I set up a Patreon account because I was told that anyone will read free trash, but no one would pay for my stuff and I published when I was told that subscription readers wasn't the same as actually writing a novel.
I want to get better and the only way to do that is to put the time and effort in. Even in the last two years I see enough improvement that I want to go take down my fan fiction work. I don't though, because the people who left me encouraging comments were what kept me from quitting when people IRL told me that I was wasting my time

My most recent published book was written because I wanted to get Earl a girl friend. The poor guy didn't get any love in Thrown to the Wolves or in the novella Found. I couldn't see him holding still to romance an Ulfurinn. He doesn't have a pack. I got to thinking, how does the poor guy get any?
He can't just pick up a girl in a bar.
This seemed like the easiest explanation.
