It's snowy and January :) I'm DREAMING of summer. There are so many books on my TBR right now, but I'm most anxiously awaiting Taste by Melanie Harlow...it comes out in March!

I would definitely be making a trip up to Chikalu Falls, Montana. Not only are the men there FIRE, but the scenic mountains & ranch land? Yes, please! I'd probably take a swing through the enigmatic Tipp, Montana, too. :)

For Protecting You, there were several sources of information. First, who doesn't love a hot cop?! Also, I was once a single mom and the idea of having a strong-broody alpha sweep you off your feet was the BEST EVER. Finally, I adore the idea of two people who have known each other forever struggle to made amends and forgive the sins of their past. **Sigh** I just love Maggie & Deck!

I have found that SPRINTING is by-far the best way to break through a block. It's even better if I can get one of my writer friends to sprint virtually with me. We set a timer, write our hearts out, and count up the words when we're done. The friendly competition helps!

I have always been a voracious reader. I go through so many books and with that, sometimes there are ups and downs. I found myself in a book slump and decided to write the book I really wanted to read...and out came Finding You (my debut novel)!

So far the best thing about being a writer is connecting with readers who love the same things I do (raise your hand if you love steamy romance!) I've also met some incredible authors who have quickly become some of my closest friends. I'm loving our community!

Right now, book 3 in the Chikalu Falls series is with my editor (eeek!). So while I'm waiting for those edits to come back, I'm planning out the next series. It'll still be small town but I've got some fun twists and plot ideas swirling around in my head - these books are DYING to be written! I plan to start the opening chapter in the next few days!
