I read somewhere that you have 3 more novels lined up with Tor books, will any of those be about our loveable orc, Viv or her world? Absolutely loved Legends & Lattes and Bookshops & Bonedust and would be super stoked to read more about her adventures.

Hi Travis! I noticed that Viv's height and stature is a central theme in Legends & Lattes, what inspired you to explore these themes and does it relate to your own height?
Travis Baldree I'm actually not terribly tall - but it relates to a feeling of 'sticking out' and feeling you immediately don't fit in with the crowd you're in that I think most of us have experienced.

Just curious if you have some place where we can follow the progress of audiobooks you're working on? Very interested in Mark of the Fool 6 if you're working on that one.
Travis Baldree I tend not to do that because the schedule can change if manuscripts aren't ready, and I don't ultimately have control over the publication dates. I do narrate a lot of them live on my Discord though.

Travis Baldree They definitely appear in the book that I'm writing now, although they aren't the main characters... as far as the future beyond that goes, I can't say yet!

hello travis! i love your books and i was wondering (this is a very weird question) have you ever played animal crossing? ive heard you used to play d&d and legends and lattes feel like a mixture of the two books, so i was wondering if you had any inspiration in that game. Thanks!
Travis Baldree None specifically - I played AC back on the GameCube and after changing my system clock multiple times rather than wait for events, I put it away as incompatible with my innate impatience :D.
But I do appreciate the low-key vibes!

Travis Baldree Not since high school - never found a group after that!
However, I made Action RPGs for nearly 20 years (Fate, Torchlight, etc), so you could say I have been D&D adjacent for a VERY long time.

Hello Mr. Baldree, firstly I would like to say thank you for writing this book. I have never had the pleasure to experience such a cosy and familiar (I'm a barista) setting in a fantasy book. Bravo sir, your book has immediately become my absolute favourite to date. I would like to know, how did the idea of a fantasy coffee shop come into play? Are you a coffee connoisseur yourself or simply a random idea?
Travis Baldree I definitely love coffee, and at the time was very much missing hanging out in one, and seeing other humans face to face.
