Cindy R.X. He Every book has been different, but generally when I get an idea in my head I let it sit for a month or two, then write a very bad first draft, get some early feedback from other writer friends on it, write a better second draft, then my editor gives me her edit letter and I cry for a few days then rewrite the book again, and then revise again during copy edits, and again during pass pages, which we are not really allowed to do, and then the book is sent to the printer by which time it's too late for me to make any more changes to it so I just have to cross my fingers and hope that readers will like the final book.

But if you mean what my day to day writing routine looks like, on weekdays I try to spend around six to eight hours a day writing, which usually produces 1000 - 1500 words a day. That usually involves quite a bit of tea, staring at my laptop, staring out the window, lying on the sofa staring at the ceiling, and crying.
Cindy R.X. He Hi! It's a stand alone book, there are no plans for a sequel.
Cindy R.X. He Hi Joshua! Yes! THIS IS WHERE WE DIE, a YA thriller, is set to be published by Sourcebooks Fire in July, 2025! I will update on my website, and Instagram, very soon with more details!
