Inspiration is a mysterious thing. Several things "inspired" me for Unearthly--my preoccupation with the ideas of fate and destiny v. choice, an experience I had with a forest fire when I was ten years old, my love for C.S. Lewis' novel, The Great Divorce, my ?????!!! feeling when I read that verse about the Nephilim in Genesis.
