How do you deal with writer’s block?
Ruth Saberton When I find I can't write it's a great indicator that I'm not writing something that I am loving 100%. I normally put it away and go back to it later on. In the meantime I'll write something different.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Ruth Saberton I love the whole process of writing a book. It's an escape from everything. I believe with all my heart that if one person enjoys what I have written then all the hard work and angst is worthwhile.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Ruth Saberton Write! As much as possible. Never give up. Expect to eat baked beans for a long time! Make friends with other writers. They are a wonderful support.

What are you currently working on?
Ruth Saberton I'm currently working on "Escape to the Sun". This is the latest installment of my "Escape" series.

How do you get inspired to write?
Ruth Saberton I have always written. It's like an addiction. If I don't write then I just don't feel like me.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Ruth Saberton It popped into my head while I was on the London Underground on the way back from Orion!
