Hi Laura, The new book is a spinoff from the Ladies Most Scandalous. It's in the same world and will follow the members of the Ems Book Club (short for the Mischief and Mayhem Book Club, or M&Ms, or Em's). Thanks for asking!

Hi Michelle! I'm so glad you enjoyed Flora and Langham :) Their book, A SPINSTER'S GUIDE TO DANGER AND DUKES, will be released in November 2022. I don't have a specific date yet, alas. But rest assured it's on its way!

Hi Lola! I am definitely not one of those people who was writing from the time I was small. But, around age thirteen, I did write fanfiction starring my group of friends and the characters from the TV show, Moonlighting. Later in hisg school and college I took a creative writing class and write some poetry and short stories.
I didn't finish a full novel until I was 34 and sold my first book at 36.

At this point there are three planned. After that, who knows! It depends on the popularity of the series! Thanks for reading and enjoying :)

Hi Susan,
I'm not sure. I'll check with Kasey. She's the one who usually sets those up.
Cheers,
Manda

My book that will be released on July 29--in fact that whole trilogy--came about because I was goofing around making contemporary film and song titles into Regency appropriate ones. Duke, Where's My Carriage? Earl, You Know It's True...you get the idea. In this case, it was I Know What You Did Last Season, which I used as the basis for a trilogy about three heroines who were present when one of their husbands died and are being blackmailed. Of course the original had some paranormal elements, but since I don't write woo woo, I just made it non-paranormal and had the blackmail carry through the three books. In the third, and final, book in the trilogy--Why Lords Lose Their Hearts--the arch villain will be revealed and hopefully, my readers will be surprised. I know I was!

I find inspiration all over the place. It can be in a line of overheard conversation, or a television show, or sometimes just the way the sunlight hits a bolt of fabric in a shop window. I do read extensively--lots of contemporary romance, mysteries and thrillers and many of my book ideas have sparked from thinking "I wonder how that would work in Regency England..."

The first book in my new Lords of Anarchy series. It's very loosely based on the motorcycle club concept of Sons of Anarchy, only it's set in Regency England, and my heroes don't ride motorcycles, they drive carriages. But just like the series, there is drama and treachery and excitement.
In the first book, my hero Lord Frederick Lisle must go undercover in the driving club he holds responsible for his friend's death. Only he'll have his plans messed up by the friend's sister, Miss Leonora Craven. Who also happens to be a celebrated poet in her own right. They both want to know what really happened to Craven, so they'll need to work together to find out.
There will be banter and mystery and danger. And much kissing!

Don't give up! I've had many fits and starts along the way to publication, but the times I most regret are when I stopped writing altogether. I always started up again, but if I'd carried even one of those early projects through to the end, I'd have been published that much sooner. And I'd have twelve books under my belt instead of six.

I really do agree with you Manda. I wish I had started writing sooner. Well, better late than never!
