Jim Zub One of the nice things about having multiple projects on the go at the same time is that if one is seizing up and not moving forward I can switch gears and work on one of the others. That overall forward momentum keeps me from focusing on the blockage and hopefully gives my subconscious time to figure out a solution to the other writing problem.

Comic writing involves collaborating with the art team (line artist, colorist, letterer, and usually an editor) and the writer is the first person in the production pipeline. I find that the pressure to deliver on time and make sure everyone else has the work they're supposed to can help me push through writer's block. People are relying on me and I don't want to mess things up.
Jim Zub I'm juggling a few different comic projects right now.

My latest creator-owned series is called WAYWARD. It's a bit like Buffy in Japan. Teenagers fighting Japanese mythological monsters on the streets of Tokyo. Drama, action, and a lots of surprises.

At the same time I'm wrapping up the series I'm probably known best for at this point, a sword and sorcery action-comedy called SKULLKICKERS. We're in the midst of our final story arc and I'm excited for readers to see how we finish it off.

I write the tie-in comic for the ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN: WEB WARRIORS cartoon being published by Panini in the UK and other markets.

I've also got a new Disney comic project in the works that hasn't been announced yet, but hopefully will be soon.
