“Self-care is your fuel...Whatever the road ahead or the path you’ve taken, self-care is what keeps your motor running and your wheels turning.”
Melissa Steginus, Self Care at Work: How to Reduce Stress, Boost Productivity, and Do More of What Matters

“Journaling is a great way to pay attention to “how it all came to be.â€ In looking back, you gain insight into (and appreciation for) your challenges, lessons, and perseverance.”
Melissa Steginus, Self Care at Work: How to Reduce Stress, Boost Productivity, and Do More of What Matters

“Remember that work and life coexist. Wellness at work follows you home and vice-versa. The same goes for when you’re not well, fuelled, or fulfilled. Work and life aren’t opposing forces to balance; they go hand-in-hand and are intertwined as different elements of the same person: you.”
Melissa Steginus, Self Care at Work: How to Reduce Stress, Boost Productivity, and Do More of What Matters

“Knowledge may be power, but real change lies in action. In the doing.”
Melissa Steginus, Self Care at Work: How to Reduce Stress, Boost Productivity, and Do More of What Matters

“It’s your purpose that keeps you grounded and growing throughout your process.”
Melissa Steginus, Self Care at Work: How to Reduce Stress, Boost Productivity, and Do More of What Matters

“You can’t truly move forward if you don’t know where you’re going (or if you don’t know why you’re going in that direction). If that’s the case, you’re not really moving forward—you’re just moving. It’s like pushing papers or doing busy work; your hands are busy but you’re not getting much accomplished.”
Melissa Steginus, Self Care at Work: How to Reduce Stress, Boost Productivity, and Do More of What Matters

“Just remember that if what you’re doing lacks purpose or intention—if you don’t know why you’re working so hard to move in a certain direction—then all you’re doing is losing energy.”
Melissa Steginus, Self Care at Work: How to Reduce Stress, Boost Productivity, and Do More of What Matters

“Productivity refers to both the action and the result of a process that centres on assessing one’s priorities and then acting on them.”
