I'm over at C. Lee McKenzie's today where she's posted about my upcoming novel, Between Two Fires! I'm into my second week of my online blog tour and going strong. Head on over and see Lee's post about the book!

I'm actually going to get to meet Lee face to face when she comes to my book launch event and book signing on the 27th! It's so awesome to finally meet folks in person that I've spoken to for years via blogs and emails. Definitely looking forward to it!

Today I'm chilling over at Elaine Moxon's terrific where she's interviewing me about my debut novel. She's super sweet and always asks intriguing questions when it comes to literature. Hope you enjoy it!

I'm also steadily getting more reviews on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, which is awesome especially since my novel has yet to come out. My publisher has been really good about giving out NetGalley e-versions of my novel to readers, and if you're one of the lucky ones to have received a copy, please consider leaving a review for Between Two Fires. Even bad reviews are helpful, as it boosts my novel's reach online. Of course, 5-star reads and reviews are most welcome, thanks!

On today's stop of my book blog tour, I'm hanging out over at Nicola Burggraf's . Check out her post on Between Two Fires! She's given me plenty of encouraging advice along the way, which I super appreciate.

I'm also knee-deep into my summer rereading program. Actually , it's nothing official, I just like to make sure to reread some of my favorite books ever summer so that I can enjoy them again and again, and plumb the depths of their awesomeness! Right now I'm midway through my favorite series by Lawrence Durrell, the Alexandrian Quartet. Hope your summer reading is going well!

With my debut novel's release less than two weeks away now, I'm ramping up my book blog tour with another stop. Today I'm at Shannon Lawrence's superb The Warrior Muse blog! See the cool blurb !

On a similar note, I'm getting more folks who have read my book to leave reviews on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ. The more the merrier, even if it's a low star review, I'm just happy to get folks reading my book. Fortunately, there have been plenty of 5 star reviews from people who have gotten early copies of Between Two Fires. Here's to the momentum keeping up:)

Day three of my book blog tour marches on with an appearance at Stina Lindenblatt's today! Check out her awesome Romance blog and her shout out for my book. Only a short two weeks until my debut novel hits bookshelves worldwide!

On another thrilling note, I hit my 100 person goal for my Thunderclap campaign! A big thanks to all my pals who helped out! And there's always room for a few more to sign up, because even though we've met our goal, Thunderclap will still allow people to join the movement. Looking forward to when it comes out on August 23rd!

With my book release only a few weeks out, I've noticed a substantial uptick in web traffic to my site and blog. I'm getting close to 2,000 hits a day, with more than 40,000 unique views a month, and it's still rising. I guess somebody likes what they're reading:) 

Today marks the start of my month-long blog tour! And helping me kickoff the beginning of this online tour today is Elizabeth Seckman! I'll be hanging out at her blog today, so please give it a :)

Between Two Fires officially comes out in only a few short weeks! My publisher is also gearing up for some nice giveaways and goodies for later this month as well, so I'll keep you posted. Thanks everyone!

I love to write for young readers, and I write both young adult and middle grade fiction. I fall into the hybrid author category with four traditionally published young adult novels: Sliding on the Edge, The Princess of Las Pulgas, Double Negative, and Sudden Secrets, ­­and three self­-published middle grade adventure/fantasies. Sign of the Green Dragon is my third Indie out August 3. Alligators Overhead and the sequel, The Great Time Lock Disaster were my first two. It’s fun to know both sides of this writing business. Italia Gandolfo represents me, and I’m about to send her my latest young adult story. Fingers crossed.

I’m very fortunate to have some great five star reviews from readers and reviewers. And I’m really pleased that I’m learning this business. Promotion has been my biggest challenge. I’ve had to learn how to schedule, so I can still write and do the promo I need to do for my other books. It’s a full­time job. When I’m not writing I’m practicing yoga, doing sun salutations in my garden (AKA weeding) or scratching my head over how all of this writing stuff started. I'm still not sure, but the ride has been exhilarating and so much different than I'd expected.
