This novel was spectacular. It blew me away with its beautiful story telling, and real world problems.

Is there really MM Romance in the book? The genre/bookshelves says it is but the synopsis says otherwise.

What makes the book so good is that yes, Thom is gay and that is a conflict in the book, but it's o…m´Ç°ù±ðYes, a matter of fact there is MM Romance in Hero. What makes the book so good is that yes, Thom is gay and that is a conflict in the book, but it's only one conflict. It's not the only thing about Thom. This story is actually very realistic past the sense that there are people with superpowers as a normality. Thom has many problems around and the book isn't exactly a romance but more action/adventure, but yes there are romances, and yes one of them is gay.(less)

I really want to read this book but one of my pet greatest peeves are incomplete stories. Somebody mentioned that this book was initially intended to be the first in a series before the author passed away and I wanted to know if there are any loose ends by the end of the novel or if the author rounded everything off successfully. (?)

Nevertheless, as a wannabe writer and an avid reader, I would say that Perry Moore rounded the book off successfully. In the end, the only thing I felt missing when I finished the book was a piece of my heart because I was done living in the world of Thom and friends. :)(less)
