Oh my gosh :O, This is so new. I can't wait for my hands to grip on this book. Are you planning to go on World Tour for your book? Hope you come here in the Philippines. Oh, I can't contain myself. Did any movie companies buy the filming rights already? They should.

Victoria Aveyard I hope I make it to the Philippines as well! No news on a world tour yet, but Universal Pictures did buy the option to the film adaptation. :)

Has anyone read both this book and Pierce Brown's Red Rising? I'm asking because Red Rising came out last year and this sounds very similar. If you have read both, would you still recommend reading this one? I have already read Red Rising and am wondering if there is enough of a difference to go for this as well.

I've read Red rising, and it's about not only rebellion and its developing, but also strong, loyalty, the growth of the town, deceit, betrayal, etc. In other words, it is a great book.

So I read around 175 pages and stopped because it got boring. I'm tired of Mare's whining, the plot is moving slow, the characters are a little one dimensional, and the writing isn't great. Does it get better because love the premise and the first half was pretty fun. If it doesn't get better anyone know any really good dystopian\sci-fi series?
