I do however feel that anyone can benefit from learning information in this book, so it is up to the discretion of the parent to decide if the child would gain some benefit over the language. We listened to audio CD in the car, my second time listening and my 15 year old was in the car, because I wanted him to know the events that took place, minus the language. I figured that they hear this language from other sources and I rather he was in my company listening to something as important as this than some rap video that I don't know about. I hope this helps.
