At the end, did Jenny end up working at the hospital? I thought that she was just visiting, but she was giving orders to the nurses and acting like she was in charge of everything.

Is there any swearing or sexual scenes in this book?

This was published in 1983, and it makes a reference to a moral panic about R. L. Stine books. Except R.L. Stine didn't start publishing horror until 1986, which was for adults (Fear Street was '89, Goosebumps was '92). Was there a moral panic over his comedy writing ("Bananas" magazine)? He wrote that under the pen name "Jovial Bob Stine". Is this a weird re-write that they did for a reprint? What the hell is going?
