anyone read this book yet?
Tracy I JUST finished. I loved it so much. There was so much I didn't know about his life, his music and the crazy stuff he's gone through. I ended the book…m´Ç°ù±ðI JUST finished. I loved it so much. There was so much I didn't know about his life, his music and the crazy stuff he's gone through. I ended the book with such a happy feeling that he's got a great family and is living a wonderful life enjoying his boys.(less)

I'm in my 60s and enjoyed it very much. There's nothing here that would be much of a surprise to anybody who lived through the 60s and 70s. However, Elton John is a gay man who had a bad drug/alcohol problem for part of his life, and he is candid about all of those things, so if any of those things upset your grandma, don't give it to her. Also, I'm not bothered by bad language, but some people are, and Elton writes here the way he talks in real life (i.e. there are f* and s* words). So I probably wouldn't share it with my mother who is in her 80s. Hope that helps.(less)
