I love the way Franck McCourt is/was a sensitive writer particularly when reading "Angela's ashes". However in 'Tis a Memoir I find his style remaining a little bit childish, the way he writes his thoughts. And it makes me feel unconfortable because in 'Tis a Memoir, he is a young adult. Do we have to suppose he was a bit naive, even a bit daft (no offense Mr McCourt) ? what do you think? I'd like to read other opinio

Lucille Taylor The use of the writer’s words and expressions continually add color to his writing. He may seem a bit immature, but he came to a new culture, with a b…m´Ç°ù±ðThe use of the writer’s words and expressions continually add color to his writing. He may seem a bit immature, but he came to a new culture, with a background of alcohol abuse in his family and a father who left the family. He persevered and taught students that learning could be personally enjoyable.(less)
