Could someone please tell me if this book is worth reading, if I previously enjoyed both Siddhartha and Steppenwolf?

Paulina St I think it is better than Siddhartha and Steppenwolf and very worth reading.

I thought this novel was really vivid, colourful and beautifully written. The grappling of existence derived through the eyes of Goldmund and the meaning of experience i can really relate to and the idea of whether freedom or commitment is the true path to enlightenment and human satisfaction. I believe these to be some of the most poignant and profound questions in men, especially younger adult males? (i am 29)
