What does closure really mean?

Kaylan closure (well, at least how they use it in the book) means a sense of conclusion, resolution or satisfaction at the end of an event/artistic work

as part of a university interview, I need to find a book to help teach equality about a certain topic from a list (I chose autism) to a year nine group (13-14 yr olds) my obvious first choice was The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time but due to the language in it I'm not entirely sure. Would this book be more suitable/just as effective?

Aston I haven't read that book, although I have asperger's and I enjoyed "Mockingbird" very much. I could see myself in Caitlin several times. Is this an appropriate book for 11-13 year olds?

Emma Rose I think it depends on the child. The topic dealt with is very grim and the story could be too depressing and dark for some children. It centers around a school shooting so there are a couple of somewhat violent mentions of her dead brother. (mentioning his heart hanging out if I recall correctly) The book also depicts Caitlin dealing with her grief and the aftermath of her brother's death. (less)
