You should also remember that every character has a name, a patronym and a last name, so sometimes you'll see a character being referred to as, for example, Pyotr Petrovich, and sometimes as Luzhin. Just don't give up because this classic doesn't bear the title for nothing - it's a beautiful book worth reading.(less)

Even within the epilogue it took him a bit to realize she would stick with him through the pain and that got him to finally realize what that kind of love really meant. (less)
