there are so many sandra brown books. i liked this one because of the mystery. does anyone recommend what i should read next? there are so many to pick from...

MA I really enjoyed Mean Streak, Lethal, Low Pressure, Seeing Red, and Tailspin. Mean Streak and Lethal were unique because the lead male characters were鈥辞谤别I really enjoyed Mean Streak, Lethal, Low Pressure, Seeing Red, and Tailspin. Mean Streak and Lethal were unique because the lead male characters were such a mystery and seemingly dangerous, and yet the leading ladies were forced to trust them to some extent, and that added a whole other layer of tension and suspense.

What I really liked about Low Pressure and Tailspin was that neither leads were in law enforcement. In suspense novels, it's easy to write stories that involve law enforcement, but these two books did a great job of creating a mystery and the search for answers while utilizing characters that had no special skills other than what they already possessed. They didn't have the advantage of having easy access to evidence, resources, weapons, etc. They had to rely on themselves and their wits, and I personally enjoy that in suspense novels.

Seeing Red was kind of similar too in that the male lead was formerly in law enforcement to some extent but he was "disgraced" and made his own rules by starting his own PI business which, I enjoy in stories.

And every single one of these had *amazing* chemistry between the leads 馃挴 (less)

Joanne L. Massey Envy was a page-turner and kept me entertained throughout. Sandra Brown added surprises here and there to keep the plot interesting. I enjoyed a peek 鈥辞谤别Envy was a page-turner and kept me entertained throughout. Sandra Brown added surprises here and there to keep the plot interesting. I enjoyed a peek into the publishing industry. The characters were strong and the relationships were very convincing. (less)
