Alia G No!! I have been meaning to get it! I’m so excited to see what happens if and when Joy finds ZG!! Which book was more fun to write- Shanghai girls or Dreams of Joy??

Lisa See I don't think of it in terms of easy or hard. Every book has its hard parts. There's some pretty tough stuff coming up in Dreams of Joy, with parts that were very hard to write, let alone understand that people truly lived through that time. The main thing I wanted with Dreams of Joy was for everyone to have a happy ending. I kept writing towards that...

Alia G That’s such a good goal to write towards. I definitely understand that making sure that the text is historically accurate/ makes sense for the time is probably one of the most important parts of the book!! Thank you so much and I hope to talk to you more soon!!
