THANK YOU! I am so sick of people saying this is the worst book ever because of the one account of actual rape. This happened back then and they are so ignorant. Don't read a historically accurate book if you are going to whinge about it.
Good grief!! We're talking 200 years ago here. If you people can't stomach the reality of what life and people were really like in a bygone age...stick to Barbara Cartland! And the best of luck!
