Ryan Morris I would think that every author who has ever created a hero is at least a little envious of their heroic traits. If this were not the case, how entirely flat would that character have to be? The frailties of a character add to their relatability but their exceptional characteristics take us away from the black ink on paper and into their world because we want to be there with them.

When Langdon wakes up in the hospital, he is as confused as any one of us would be but his character is such that he quickly adapts and never stops thinking which is something all of us could do a little more of.

message 12: by Amit (new)

Amit Srivastava Mr Brown, Since you are so fascinated with symbols, can I recommend HIndu Mythological symbols for your any future novels? For example, in Vincci Code, you mentioned that 25th December is actually the birthday of Sun God?

message 13: by Alexander (new)

Alexander Mr. Brown!

Your novels very often are fascinating and even cognitive in a way for interested young people.
But you have set me loughing very much with your canisters for keeping antimatter!!!
You just cannot imagine to what extent should one be ignorant in the field of matter/antimatter interaction as to "invent" a compact canister to keep antimatter inside the superintensive magnetic fields generated by a "gadget" made of conventional matter!!! :))

Allow me to wish you good luck and creative longevity!

Yours sincerely

Iryna Zagara Dear Dan Brown,

I would like to express my gratitude to you for all those wonderful feelings and moments which I got reading your amazing books. They inspired me to learn more about countries, historical events and architecture monuments mentioned there.

About three years have passed since your last novel. Do you have any plans to continue writing?
If so, could you tell me when approximately you plan to release your new masterpiece in the world of literature?

Best regards,
Iryna
