I love curvy women in romances because I feel it counter-balances current media where 'skinny' is the norm. I don't see it as disrespecting skinny women, I see it as providing an alternative.

Im a curvy woman, so to me reading your books are great. Not everyone wants a skinny woman and considering more and more people write about the heroine being skinny now, it makes your stories more realistic to me. Plus its always great to know some men like a woman with some meat on their bones.
I'm a curvy woman myself so I get an extra kick out of books where the curvy girl get the guy and they live HEA!!! but in truth so long as the female lead is a kick (_!_) woman I'm a very happy bookworm
