Though it might seem obvious to you, reinforcing the simple/obvious things are essential. Those are the things we might forget or over look or not throw enough importance on. If it is not mentioned or highlighted, the book would fail in highlighting the significance it has on writing. People might therefore conclude other less relevant things to be of higher importance.
