Thanks, I actually just read The Hobbit w/ my book group, and it was slow going at first, but towards the end I could not put it down
No prob! Yeahh, I understand. Same thing happened with me reading LOTR. But It's an amazing book though, isn't it? And the author was a really cool person. He and C S Lewis were friends. :) have you ever read the Narnia series?
It really is awesome, and I love his writing voice, very unique. I read the first few when I was a kid and now I've been reading them again, I've just got to finish The Silver Chair, and then The Last Battle :)
Oh yes!
Same here. I'm gonna reread them as well. C S Lewis is also an amazing author. I love all the symbolism in his stories. :)
Hahaha! The Last Battle made me cry.
I'm really excited to read it, everyone keeps telling me how great it is! :) I think that the symbolism is cool also, I just wish they had made all the books into movies :(
And they're right! It really is. :) the movies are really good, aren't they? Especially The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. :D well, did you know that they're gonna make The Silver Chair into a movie?? My dad told me.
No way? That will be so awesome i just checked imdb and they are making the Magician's Nephew as well! How exciting!
