Oh!!! I do love historical romances!!!! And this one I love as well! I love Christian beauty and vulnerability and I love Ava strenght and the power that she had so she could find peace in a war of generations!!! Hot sex scenes are a great bonus! Lovely story and beautiful love!!!

This was a very good example of a historical erotic romance and I loved it. The characters were well suited to each other both strong willed people who thought they knew what they wanted out of their temporary forced situation. This book has a Montague and Capulet story line of a war between families so old that no one curently remembers the reason why they hate each other. This was a very sexy and entertaining read with compelling characters and extraordinary use of language. The steamy sex scenes and the surprise turns in the plot really kept me reading. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
This was my favorite historical romance of 2013. Powerful and dark with a fabulously broken hero and a really appealing heroine.
Another great book by Jess Michaels, looking forward to the rest of the series!
