Loved it as much as last time. I do see the flaws of this and get how it might not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed the book. I still stand by my old review, but somehow I had completely forgotten the ending, so it came as a bit of a surprise! Would highly recommend the audiobook, the narration makes it feel like a movie. Rating at 4 stars, same as last time.

“There is a rhythm to moving through the world alone..
You discover what you can and cannot live without, the simple necessities and small joys that define a life. Not food, not shelter, not the basic things a body needs—those are, for her, a luxury—but the things that keep you sane. That bring you joy. That make life bearable.

Here we are in the trenches of Addie LaPoo’s (credit @Bumble Greenbriar) adventures across cities in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Iceland? and America.
Basically every first world country you could think of 🙄

Pfft, like with everything in this world there are positives and negatives and this book is no exception.

I adore that art has such a prominent stance in the story, its visible from the descriptions t

Beautiful.
FINALLY, I WROTE A DAMM REVIEW AND HERE IT IS.

5 STARS
I don't see how it's possible to give this book anything lower than a 5-star rating.
I finished this book like 1 or 2 months ago, but because of school and other things, I haven't been able to write a review.
I will try my best on this because, to be honest, I'm terrible at writing reviews.
AND i don't even know where to start with this magnificent book.

The plot was *chef kiss* I loved everything about it.

The one thing I learned from reading The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is that you can't trust an author to write brilliant books every time.

It may not be fair to compare books that are so different, but I can't help it. Vicious blew me away. It's a masterpiece that convinced me I'd love everything V. E. Schwab has ever written and will write in the future. As we can see now, this did not turn out to be the case.

But did I hate this book? No. I felt nothing.

The good things about this story are f

If you've been following my channel, you'll know that this was one of, if not the, most anticipated release of the year for me. And, well, it didn't disappoint. I loved how this book delivered on its promise of exploring themes of being remembered, of the lengths we'll to for art, of the messy gray areas of the human experience, all while having such a beautiful writing style. Henry, Addie, and Luc were just such amazing main characters, and I loved how complex and fun this book was to read. Add ...more

Spoiler-Free Thoughts:

Broad Thoughts:
I loved the format, writing style, characters, and story! Addie was a protagonist who I could definitely root for, and I liked the love interest. Also, the reason that the plot was the plot actually made sense and wasn't just "ooh he's the chosen one because of this obscure thing that happened this one time". Over all, really good, and I haven't LOVED many if any of the books I've read this year (other than my Hunger Games reread, ofc), so it was nice to love

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue was a seven-foot-tall wave of heart-wrenching pain, drowning me in the sea of sorrow, giving me no way to come back up.

(Excuse my dramatic metaphors.)

In simple words, it broke my heart. And I’m still trying to process what just happened.

Although this book didn’t make me CRY cry, I was doing so internally, mind you. The plot was so interesting and different.

Wait. Who am I kidding?

Victoria Schwab’s writing is out of this world. It’s so unique and captivates all y

Firstly let me just say, to me 3 stars is not really a bad rating as it is okay!
I don't really know what to say about this book, It was interesting I'll give it that but ut kind of gives me this sense of dissatisfaction?
I mean I stayed up so late to finish it ( trust me it wasn't easy) and I was disappointed.
But I really love the plot in its sense and honestly wasn't that bad.

4.5 ~ I feel kind of like I’ve been hit by a truck. This book was fantastic and it gave everything I wanted it to give. I was thinking that this book would be a good solid 4 until the last “book. The way the ending tied everything up so seamlessly was beautiful and wonderful and moving. The plot twist too, it actually got me. I did not see it coming and I am so glad because it made it all the more bittersweet.

I could probably talk for days about this book. I finished it yesterday and haven’t b
