This was so good!
It was enemies to friends to fwb to lovers and I love love love fwb. Henry and Alex fit perfectly together and complemented each other so well. And their first kiss was amazing. Also, I loved reading their emails, and the way they added little excerpts of poems and stuff at the end <3
Their was also a little found family trope in this which I really liked. The night at the karaoke bar was the best. All the characters were really funny and well-fleshed out. I love Nora and June es ...more

Hmm, where to begin? To summarise: I enjoyed it a lot, but found it to be somewhat overhyped. I didn't think it was the best thing ever, but I did like how the story went in general. It was a fun read (although, it was quite slow and a little boring in the middle).
I think quite a lot can be said just by looking at which tabs I used when reading: mostly light pink, hot pink and orange, with a few yellow and purple ones. Translated to normal langua ...more

more like a 3.5 stars~~~ i didn’t really care for either of the main characters (particularly alex) and found that i cared more about the politics and election rather than the romance. was expecting way more of a slow burn but Nora June and bea carried this book in all honesty.
4.75⭐️ this book was so good! A little slow to start. But I loved every character and it was so different than anything I’ve read before.

So I loved the first 300 pages of this for the most part. I really enjoyed the witty dialogue amongst the characters and the romance development was super cute and heart warming. I genuinely laughed a lot at all of the humor. It gave me so many good feelings. I particularly liked Henry who was so more realistic than most of the other characters. For 9p% of this novel, I was going to rate it a solid 4 stars. But the ending made me cry so that's an automatic upgrade as far as I'm concerned.

I honestly absolutely adored this book and it was exactly what I needed after reading A Little Life, just optimistic, young adult, fluffy, sugary goodness of a book is what I needed and this book absolutely delivered in that department. This is one of those books that I would re-read again.
Umm I have no strong opinions for this book. I just don't think this book is for me. I was just trying to finish it so I can finally watch the movie.
All i know is It took me forever to get through it and I don't get why this book is so long.

*I don't like all the politics
