I only gave this book five stars because of the epilogue, other than that it would鈥檝e been a four star book, maybe three I don鈥檛 know. Looking back I don鈥檛 regret reading this book but sometimes I sit in my room and just think about my decision on reading it. Lily and Atlas were great characters. I loved the part about the letter and Ellen, I don鈥檛 understand why most people didn鈥檛 like them but I did. They were a great part of the book in my opinion and made me like the book more. 4.5. wowww. this was so powerful and an amazing book!! i really get the hype. this book was sooo beautiful. i was so invested in this story and i really cared for all the characters as they were very developed and crafted so well. i think this book really brings awareness to difficult topics in a great way and i learned a lot from it. everything tied together so perfectly in the end and i just had to really think about everything. one of my top favorites for sure! i was expecting a super heartbr ...more

Overall, this was a good book. I enjoyed the plot line and appreciated the bravery the main character exuded.

What knocked it down a bit for me was the predictability and cheesiness of it. The chapters written to Ellen were odd. I guess it鈥檚 a unique spin on a journal, but it seemed forced to me. Also, the 鈥渘aked truth鈥� thing got old the first time they said it.

All in all, I enjoyed the book and can see why so many people love it!
