the best way to phrase this book would be indulgent. it was cute and funny, but also sweet and youthful! the assassin game carries this book HEAVY. and the taylor swift references.
now, i am not a hater. i don't hate on popular books just because they're popular.
however, this is one of those books that got so popular and everyone kept gushing about it, so i inevitably created all these expectations about how good it should be, and that's on me. what wasn't there for me to like??? i live and die for miss swift. this book has my name written all over it.
