3., stars, runded up! Aww, I really wanted to like this more! I loved the fairytale aspects and kinda enjoyed the writing, but I wasn't in love with the characters as much as I wanted to be. This definitely didn't pass the Bechdel test lol and I thought Jacks was kinda...? hmmm just not the best! But that is my cynical feminist side lol, the hopeless romantic in me loved the whimsical and wildly creative descriptions of dresses, as well as all the magical places Evangeline visited. Audiobook. Just heads up,you can read this without reading the Caraval trilogy, but I highly recommend you do not. The Caraval gives you more insight to the background. I’m really enjoying this trilogy, I love the author writing feels new and refreshing.

Memangnya boleh segreget gini sama Evangeline? Alias asdfghjkl Evangeline definisi perempuan keras kepala, ngeyel, dan penuh tekad.

I'm too speechless to write another longe review aka this book is super duper bikin greget. Apalagi bagian endingnya😔
