What Members Thought

I don't think I can really form the words to describe how much I loved this book. It portrayed so many aspects of relationships (friendship, family, love, and more) so so well. It showed the devastation of PTSD in a way that I haven't seen done so well before. It showed that sometimes things change, and that's okay.
It threw me to the ground and trampled all over me, but I loved every moment.
Best book of 2016 thus far. ...more

Wowsers! What a book! I'm still in shock....WOW!!!! Sarah J. Maas wasn't playing around with this series...nope! For all those who frowned at the Throne of Glass Series, I'd say....swing this way. Just give this book series a shot.
No spoilers here. But I do have the following instructions:
1) Read, A Court of Thorns and Roses
2) Then read, A Court of Mist and Fury
That is all...... ...more

This book killed me. I don't know who I was before I read it.
Sarah J. Maas has written one of the best angsty romace’s to ever exist. This book had me walking around my room every two pages because I just couldn’t do it, it was way too much for my heart. I don’t even know how to begin this review because all I can think about is just how much loved this damn book.

I'm disappointed to say that I didn't love this book as much as everyone else seems to. I really wanted to love this one, but I just had a few problems with it.
The hype. This series and this book in particular was way too overhyped. All the rave reviews and the fact that I love the Throne of Glass series so much meant that my expectations were too high going into this book. Also based on popular opinion, I expected to like this one more than ACOTAR and I didn't. In fact, I actua ...more

If I could this would be 100/10 but alas I cannot. :(

A Court of Mist and Fury has scaled the top of my favorite books, becoming one of my all-time favorites. Acomaf follows the events taken in Acotar three months later. After freeing Prythian from Amarantha's grip, Feyre is left with her heart shattered and broken- feeling the guilt and horror of what she had to do Under the Mountain. As the wedding day of her and Tamlin near, Feyre is bound to oblige to the agreement between Rhysand and her ...more

I first read this book years ago and the way the love triangle played out severely negatively impacted my enjoyment of it. This time around I still hated the love triangle but it didn't bother me as much because I knew to expect it.
There's just something about this author's writing that is so, so addictive. I didn't love everything that happened with the plot, but I do admire all the intricate details that tie everything together.
