Good action, good dialog and a very good twist to the paranormal/vampire/american indian mythology that was very enjoyable even as a man :)

I really enjoyed this book which was something of a surprise. As a guy, I was a bit suspicious of a "romance" style of story but this was about a strong woman in a very different role. Yes, there are some cliches but not enough to be offensive. There is actually a real story with a woman who is struggling with who and what she is. She is strong but with enough self doubt to make it feel real enough. There are predictable story arcs but I can live with that and still enjoy the premise of the stor ...more
