I was excited to read this. I love the premise of someone forgotten once out of sight, and it starts out really well. I was plowing through, excited to see what came next. And then Henry comes into the picture, and all of a sudden the book becomes The Slightly Depressing Life of Henry Strauss. I didn't think his flashbacks were necessary. I didn't need to know that much about him. It bogged down the book. The ending redeemed things a little bit for me, but just a little. So while I had hoped to ...more

I know, I know. Everyone loves this book. One of my friends told me to bump it up in line so I would get to it faster, but boy did I dislike it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the book, per se, I just hated the characters and it was incredibly depressing all the way through. ...more
