One of Wilde's plays, 'The Importance of Being Earnest' tells the tale of Algernon Moncrieff who has conjoured up a sick relative call Bunbury who he visits regularly. Around the same time his friend Jack decides to invent a 'brother' named Ernest so he could get away with mischief. But then Algernon decides to pose as Ernest and the real drama plays out.
