Over the years that Iāve been a Å·±¦ÓéĄÖ member, the name Julie Kagawa has come up from time to time, but the reason I never read any of her books was because Iām not a huge faerie fan. So when a vampire book finally came up with the name Julie Kagawa attached to it, I had no excuse not to pick it up, and boy am I glad I did!
Iām normally such a vampire fan-girl itās kind of embarrassing, but Iāve spent so much time recently on dystopian books that Iāve neglected my little blood-sucking friends. ...more

The story was just really entertaining, and well written I am a big fan of Julie's other series, so I had a strong feeling I would like this. I love when books have people traveling in a big group like The Walking Dead, that is my favo

Okay, so I have to admit, I wasn't sure what I was going to think about this book while I was reading it. My opinion changed a million different times while I was reading it. After I finished it, I really liked it, but it is waaaay different from the Iron Fey series ( That is to be expected though). I am excited for the next book, I can't wait to see how everything works out!

After reading Julie Kagawaās first book in her Iron Fey series, I wasnāt that impressed. The Iron King was getting many amazing reviews but it wasnāt for me. Then I heard about her new series, a dystopic vampire tale. Again absolutely amazing reviews, rarely one under 4 stars. So I gave her the benefit of the doubt that it was her first novel. I decided to give her another go. And I am glad I did. I was sucked in straight away. Already, I could tel ...more
