What Members Thought
I wanted to like this book more than I did - that’s all I can think at the end of it! I did love the glimpse into Zelda’s life, but it felt shallow. I didn’t feel connected to her or any of the characters. I also found the setting details to be lacking. I liked the idea of this book, more than the actual book. It wasn’t a bad read, but it lacked that emotional draw for me.
Parts of this dragged on and parts glossed over details that I was curious about. I wish it had been more consistent.
In the beginning of the story, the dialogue was lacking, but it got better as I went on.
