2.5 stars: this book kept my attention, but kind of against my better judgment. It had some intriguing parts, but mostly it was overly complicated with characters who weren't very well parsed out.

The twist in this book was definitely shocking. I did not see it coming at all. The chapters from the sociopath's POV were interesting and made me want to keep reading so I could figure out who the sociopath was. I had several theories throughout the book but I was not close with any of them haha. Eric annoyed me a little bit with his utter good-guy-ness but overall I liked the characters.
